About Next Stage Conflict Resolution
At NEXT STAGE CONFLICT RESOLUTION we take an alternative approach to resolving conflict. We work with parties through individual and group meetings in an effort to create reasonable, workable solutions for everyone involved. After spending over 20 years in the courtroom, Ms. Katharine Rajczak has shifted her practice to focus on alternative dispute resolution processes and solicitor work.
She mediates the resolution of conflicts between separating couples and families facing estate disputes. She also leads workshops and provides one on one coaching in conflict management. Solicitor services include preparation of wills and powers of attorney, legal writing and drafting court materials for self-represented litigants.

Ms. Rajczak will mediate with unrepresented parties and where the mediation is successful will prepare a written Agreement for subsequent signature by the parties. The parties are referred to separate lawyers for independent legal advice to review the written Agreement. Alternatively, she will mediate with parties and their lawyers to facilitate agreement on the terms of the contract and the parties' lawyers prepare the final written Agreement. Ms. Rajczak uses the CINERGY model of conflict management coaching for one-on-one coaching with individuals who seek to change their response and behaviour in conflict situations. Individuals may also be referred through their employment or a counsellor. Group sessions include interactive workshops that incorporate role playing, improvisation and holistic breathing and mindfulness techniques, Conflict Management Coaching is designed to assist individual, family, professional and corporate clients with inter-office and inter-family communications, decision-making and conflict behaviour.
Parties may work with Ms. Rajczak to resolve any conflicts that may arise around the implementation of their Parenting Plan. Court ordered residential arrangements are not varied through Parenting Coordination sessions. However, as a Parenting Coordinator, Ms. Rajczak will help parties to resolve a variety of day to day parenting disputes and reduce the impact of discord on their children. Work with a Parenting Coordinator can often help parents improve their communication and negotiation skills to reduce ongoing conflict. Ms. Rajczak will make every effort to facilitate authentic, communicative agreement between the parents. Where agreement is not possible, Ms. Rajczak will break the impasse with an arbitrated decision.
Children have a right to express their own feelings and views freely and safely about matters that affect them. Ms. Rajczak is trained in interviewing children for the purpose of preparing Voice of the Child Reports for parental reference and/or for presentation to a third party decision maker.
